Daniel Reeves
President
Daniel earned his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and his MBA at Cornell University. He spent several years with Bain & Company advising growth-stage companies before joining Promise. Daniel oversees overall agency operations and meets with prospective parents during consults. He finds the most joy in mentoring staff and celebrating the families created through the team's work. After navigating their own fertility challenges, Daniel and his partner are now parents to three children with the help of IVF.
Michael Torres
Vice President of Client Services
Michael has been part of the Promise family since 2003. His roles have included Staff Attorney, Director of Legal Services, and Director of Operations. During that time he has guided intended parents from around the world through surrogacy planning, costs, and insurance. Michael helped shape program offerings such as the all-inclusive Journey Protection™ cost program and supports parents who encounter challenges along their journeys. He earned his law degree from Georgetown University, is married with two children, and volunteers with youth literacy programs in his community.
Rachel Nguyen
Vice President of Culture and Program Support
Rachel has over 20 years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker supporting individuals, couples, and families. She works closely with Promise teams serving intended parents, surrogates, and egg donors, and credits their dedication with the families the agency has helped create over the years. Rachel earned her Master of Social Work from Columbia University. Her background includes community health work, adoption support, and family counseling across diverse communities. She presents at professional conferences on surrogacy care and draws on personal experience as a parent through birth and adoption. Outside work she enjoys hiking, photography, and cooking with friends and family.
James Caldwell, Esq
Vice President of Legal Services
James has been part of the Promise Surrogacy family since 2004 and serves as Vice President of Legal Services. He received his bachelor's degree from Villanova University and his law degree from Boston University. James has managed thousands of assisted-reproduction matters and speaks at national panels on surrogacy and egg-donation law. He advocates for thoughtful third-party reproduction policy and works closely with intended parents throughout their journeys—in Promise offices, via video, and in their home communities. James is married with two children.
Nora Lindstrom
Vice President of Surrogate Services
Nora earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Washington. During graduate training she worked at regional hospitals conducting psychosocial assessments, connecting patients with resources, and supporting interdisciplinary care teams. She joined Promise in 2013 as a social worker assessing and supporting surrogates. She has overseen every phase of a surrogate's journey from application through delivery. As Vice President of Surrogate Services, Nora leads intake departments and the matching process.
Priya Mendoza
Director of Program Coordination
Priya received her Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California and her BA in psychology from UCLA. Before Promise, she worked in hospital social services supporting labor and delivery patients. At Promise, Priya supports the Program Coordination and Clinical Support teams. She is bilingual and enjoys helping intended parents from around the world expand their families.
